Book, 84 pages, 2 folding maps, the geological map is coloured, the map showing the route of the expedition has closed tears which have been rebacked using old paper and water soluble paste. The map is complete and clean but would benefit from the old rebacking being replaced with Japanese tissue paper in order to flatten it out better. The book is rebound, Gilt title "Journal of the Central Australian Expl. Expedition, 1889. - Tietkens" on spine. Very Good.
