Book, Volume I,II and III are second editions from 1835 and 1836; volumes IV, V, VI and VII are first editions from 1837, 1838 and 1847. Half leather bindings with marbled boards, green and red title labels, gilt decorations on spine. Vol. II has burn damage at the top with the loss of part of the title label, old bookplates and name on front endpapers. First edition of the first appearance of "The story of the Three Bears" in Vol. IV, p. 318-326. It was printed in the same year separately and with illustrations by W. Nicol for Porter and Wright, London. Very Good.
