This copy has 117 plates. Occasionally small pieces lacking, a few plates have tears. The Ancient History of the Maori was planned to cover 13 text volumes, but only 6 were published, along with proof copies of parts of the seventh text volume. This illustrations volume includes all the illustrations that were to accompany the set, including the 59 already published in Volumes 1 to 6. Good.
