(Western Australia), (The Nine Club), (1979). Archie Sanderson born in Victoria 1870, established Lesmurdie in 1897 a suburb of Perth. He was a politician and journalist, who began buying properties in the area from the Canning Jarrah Timber Company to build up a rural retreat and fruit-growing property. This is his and his wife's story from the diary of his wife Maude Sanderson (born Maude Parry) edited by their son Hugh Sanderson.
