Relates how at twelve she was taken with two other girls from Mooncullah Aboriginal Station in NSW by the police to be "educated" where the Aborigines Protection Board of New South Wales sends her out as a maid of all work on an outback station. 10 songs and their history and interpretations ranging from the "Old People" to mixing of cultures Maori and Negro. Songs of the journey, songs of Aboriginal interpretation of a two up game, their interpretation of Steam Boats, songs of the early days and more.
