Folio; pp. (36), (20) facsimile plates, ten of which are coloured accompanied by 10 tinted versions of the same plate, (2) tinted plates reproducing the original wrappers; ten pages of bibliographical and publishing notes new to this edition, hand bound in quarter burgundy emu leather, with olive green kangaroo fore-edges, with cream cloth boards, title lettered in black on upper board with black decoration, all edges red, original silk page marker, housed in a green cloth solander box which also contains an additional suite of the twenty plates title lettered in gilt on spine, solander box then housed in a brown cloth slipcase, fine copy. Melbourne; Edition Renard; 2003. Limited Edition of 75 large paper copies containing an additional 10 tinted monochrome plates, copies numbered 1 to 15 are housed in a double slip-case and are accompanied by an additional suite of the 20 plates enlarged by 25% and in unbound form suitable for framing. This is copy number 5. The original work was published by Edward Orme, in 1814, this was the first known work solely devoted to the Aboriginal people of Australia.
