Edinburgh; Reid and Reynolds; 1869. Authors voyages on the " Sussex " into Melbourne and fully describes all about his experience, including weather and grog rationing on a daily basis. Gives a good account of Melbourne in the sixties where the Author resided in Victoria for six months also descriptions of with families being united on the docks, new areas just being added to Melbourne are St. Kilda, Williamstown, and Chinatown.
