Scarce. London; Charles H. Kelly; 1917. In 1900 served as Wesleyan chaplain to the New South Wales Citizens' Bushmen, raised for service in the South African War. When the contingent returned home in June 1901 he served with troops in training before re-embarking with the 1st Australian Commonwealth Horse (1ACH). In 1914 he was appointed as senior Methodist chaplin to the Australian Imperial Force, he later served with the 55th Battalion in France, this book is about his experience in the AIF.
