London; Chiswick Press; 1881. Frederick Locker-Lampson (1821-1895) only published this one volume of his own poems. He was acquainted with practically all the major literary figures of his age, including Matthew Arnold, the Browinngs, Carlyle, Dickens, Eliot, Leigh Hunt, Ruskin, Thackery and Trollope and he also mentored the illustrator artists Randolph Caldecott and Kate Greenway who provided the illustrations to this book.
