The reports provides detailed information on "Bounty Immigrants" giving detail of their Trades or Callings, for both males and females, their average wages per annum with food and lodging, number of "Permissions to Import Immigrants on Bounty", mortality on board Immigrant Ships which arrived at Port Jackson, the number of persons occupying Stations beyond the Limits of Location broken up by Districts, the amount of land sold and the prices achieved, including a thirteen page despatch of Sir George Gipps on the "Bounty System" and his more positive view of the state of the colony.
