William Robert Guilfoyle (1840-1912) was a landscape designer and botanist, appointed to take Von Mueller place as Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne on 21 July 1873. (Making this report one of his first under the appointment), his replacement of Von Mueller led to a longstanding feud between the two.
