London; William Heinemann: 1899. The story of a shipwreck survivor who claimed to have lived with the Australian Aborigines for 30 years. Possible that the author was more of an editor than anything else picking up the stories and embellishing them. First serialised in Wide World Magazine, caused a sensation in Sydney and London in 1898.
