Divides the colony of New South Wales after separation of the Port Phillip District into 31 Electoral Divisions, with fifty four members, 18 appointed by Her Majesty, and 36 elected by the inhabitants of the Colony, with the city of Sydney returning 3 members, the Counties of Cumberland and Durham to return 2 each, and the remaining electoral districts to return 1 each. Schedule A attached to the Act gives detailed description of the Boundaries of each Electoral District.
