Description: First Editions; F'cap Folio; pp. 60 pages in total; Three folding b/w. maps, one folding coloured sketch map, six folding sketch Sections, one folding geological coloured sketch map, two coloured folding sketch sections, five full page b/w. plates, the Leigh's Creek report bound in twice once with the larhe coloured folding map, all reports bound in black cloth, general title lettered in gilt on spine, front hinge a little weak, otherwise very good copies. Adelaide, H.F Leader, Government Printer, 1889-1892. A very good collection of five very scarce official reports of exploration undertaken by the most active (if relatively unsung) explorer of the late colonial and early Federal era. The papers collected here provide an overview of his earliest work in relatively unexplored regions of Central Australia.
