'' From An Affectionate Aunt to a Beloved Niece 1836'' The work appears to cover the Victorian Period from 1836 to 1883.It contains interesting examples of early photography which required long exposure.There are many handwritten examples of poetic,religious and devotional themes,several lovely hand coloured pictures and photographic examples of Art.All the page edges are in guilt and this book still maintains an Auction Ticket from Woolley & Wallis Auctioneers I guess from around late 1980's or early 1990's A few of the smaller entries are loose and require re-tipping in and there are several coloured illustrations of the period loosely lain in at the rear of the book (possibly from early greeting cards) The album measures 19cm by 23 cm The written literary entries are mostly dated 1838 -1860 examples being 'Echo' 'The Two Doves' 'Parting Wishes' and 'The Rose Bud' An attractive gathering then of Victoriana covering the period 1836-1883. Very Good .
