The Magazine of the Brighton Grammar School, with two folding lithographed maps,interesting with one plate after Aubrey Beardsley entitled '' The Jubilee Cricket Analysis '' humourous sketchesd.Beardley entered Brighton Grammar School in 1885 and remained there until July, 1888, leaving the month before his sixteenth birthday.The plate described above was the first reproduction of any of his drawings.He also appeared in the School's production of 'The Dome' playing a character of 'Spirit of Progress' School reports of The Indian and Colonial Exhibition by the Head Master in 1886.Both volumes feature Sports and Cricket Stats,Natural History Walks,various trips taken by the school,past Jottings,Concerts and shows and much more.Scarce title especially of interest to the Beardsley collector,8vo 2 volumes in One Book 1886 and 1887. Very Good .
