This is a Good Copy of this Book in Large quarto format with pictorial boards,and circular plate of Monkey to upper cover,with brown cloth spine,and brown lettering to spine.All animals are described by Florence Dugdale and each one is illustrated with wonderful coloured plates by Detmold and there are 19 in total.There is some edge wear to boards with some scuffing to lettering of 'pets' to the front board.The book has a firm binding with NO hinge weakness.Contents particularly the plates remain very clean with some internal foxing to certain pages and to the rear of some plates.Uncommon title Early Edition which is dated 1921.There are NO previous names or inscriptions present.Large quarto 4to 120pp one crease to final page of text.Decent copy for the collector.Large book with weight in excess of 1.2kg. Good .
