The first edition of AND THEN THERE WERE NONE was published in 1939.UK by Collins Crime Club on 6 November 1939 under a different title (Ten Little N*****s), which was later changed due to offensive language. The original UK title was based on an old nursery rhyme, which also influenced the plot. A great addition to any Agatha Christie Collection. very good .
