Rosenbach/April 3, 1928" Sir Edward Davson’s wife was Muriel Wilson, who became Lady Davson after their marriage. Muriel Wilson was notable for her prominent social status, beauty and connections in British high society. Muriel Wilson is perhaps best remembered for her romantic relationship with Prince George, Duke of Kent, one of the sons of King George V and Queen Mary. Prince George and Muriel were romantically involved in the early 20th century, and their affair was a subject of much speculation and gossip among the British aristocracy and press at the time. Though the relationship did not lead to marriage, Muriel Wilson's name became linked with this royal romance.
