Description: Paris, Maeght, 1965. First Limited Edition of a modernist magazine presenting the cutting edge of art of its time. First Edition, plum coloured hard cover and slipcase with a cream label, folio format, 11” x 15” (28 x 38 cm), 32 pp unbound on Rives vellum. Signed by Pierre Tal-Coat (real name Pierre Louis Jacob) and numbered thirteen of one-hundred and fifty copies of this limited edition. Accompanying French text, ‘Solitude de Universel’, by Henri Maldiney Tal-Coat was one of the founders of the Tachisme Art movement along with Jean-Paul Riopelle and Jean Dubuffet. Includes five gorgeous original double lithographs in colour and two singles (cover and back) on vellum. The hard cover and vellum pages are in excellent, fine, condition with the slipcase showing some very slight wear on the bottom and top edges. .
