An exquisite copy of this Limited and numbered Edition "JEUX" number 25 of 26 limited editions, size: 16“ x 12“ which includes a suite of 14 black and white etchings in a series of Sports and Circus themes. Each numbered and signed 25/26. Yellow cover with beige marbled spine and gold gilt lettering and design. A fine example of this book with only slight wear showing on the slip case. The engravings are bold and dynamic. This is a rare very FINE portfolio. It is unique since it was dedicated to another great artist: André Villeboeuf who like him, spent his time creating etchings and illustrations in Montmartre. In 1925, Daragnès had set up his workshop on avenue Junot, in Montmartre which was the hub for many an artist of that time. This rare and beautifully designed edition contains these original and outstanding engravings.
