The insert has some slight foxing and last page ever so slightly splitting from the spine. Gilt lettering on spine and front with beautifully designed blind embossing on the original olive green buckram. Top edges in gilt and all clean and neat. The spine is darkened with age, and has some bumping and rubbing to the top and bottom of the spine. There is no previous markings or owner on this edition. A solid book for any collector. .
