Maroon faux leather/cloth covered boards with a Salamander gold stamped design on the cover and gold stamping on the spine. Beautiful marbled swirls of blues, reds and yellow patterned end papers. Different editions had different end papers. Some slight wear and few small stains but overall quite lovely. Introduction by Soror Grimaud aka Helen Parsons Smith was a member of the Agape Lodge and was initiated in 1941 by Wilfred Smith along with her ex-husband Jack Parsons who later became head of the lodge. They were both mesmerized by Aleister Crowley and his teachings. A beautiful rare book about the I Ching that was created to simplify the process by Aliester Crowley. .
