A portrait of a young lady dressed in an odalisque pose with beautiful black, greens and black glazes. The woman “Europa” lounging on a bull. It relates to the Greek myth of Europa and the Bull but more pertinently Europa (and her Bull) have a strong symbolic relevance for Europe (it takes its name from her).
