Map endpapers. Neatly signed in fountain pen on a horizontal strip of off-white paper stock tipped to the title-age. A very nice example of this last Richard Hannay novel. Certrainly Buchan's most enduring character first introduced in the highly regarded Haycraft-Queen cornerstone, 'The Thirty Nine Steps'.
