In this issue, the contents include: "Twenty Five Days in the Sanitary Commission", "The Deleterious Effects of Vulcanite Rubber upon the Human System", "The Best Material for Artificial Dentures", "Dental Depots and their Uses", "Ancient Cures for the Toothache", "Deaths from Chloroform", &c. &c. Listings on OCLC suggest this a relatively short-lived journal, Vols. 1-5; July 1858 - May 1864, initially published quarterly going to biannually in 1862, with only one library reporting actual physical copies held. Issues of this journal are quite uncommon in the trade, and at the time of cataloguing, we find no others offered for sale. General wear, soiling & age-toning. Stamped 'Sample' at top of front wrapper. Very Good.
