Description: Toronto, Briggs. 1913. (Cloth) Near fine. 161pp. Frontispiece port. Peel(3) 3860. "Alanson L. Buck was born at Jarvis, Ont. Jan. 29th 1876. In 1885 his parents and family moved to Manitoulin Id, Ont. And became Pioneers in that new district. A.L. Buck married Margaret J. Bock of Port Elgin, Ont. and they moved to the West in 1908 at Findlater, Sask. and to Regina in 1913. In 1915, A.L.Buck enlisted; enrolled with the 11th Field Ambulance, Winnipeg, as Pte. Buck, 523860; with this unit he saw Active Service on the battlefronts of Belgium and France. After his return he was always identified with the Regina Branch of the Canadian Legion, until his death, Jan. 6th, 1943. (M.J.B.)".
