The pocket size almanacs have a calendar at the beginning, which lists federal and cantonal holidays, fairs, historical events, the state of the crops and the phases of the moon. The next section offers information about the administrations and the church. Further offered are historical, geographical or literary contributions, a.o. by Johann Heinrich Füssli, Heinrich Zschokke, Johann Rudolf Wyss, Ulrich Bräker, and Thomas Platter.
