It deals with topography and geology, in particular related to the exploration of oil. The geological maps and profiles are large and detailed. Probably these are still the best maps of the region. The photographed fossils are mainly Palaeozoic plants, ammonites, brachiopods and foraminifers. Published as Verhandelingen van het Koninklijk Nederlands geologisch en mijnbouwkundig Genootschap. Geologische Serie deel XXX Speciaal nummer. A very good, complete copy.
