Written by the Danish palaeontologist and malacologist Jesper Peter Johannes Ravn (1866-1951), and including several new species. Published in the series, Biologike Skrifter (volume 1, part 1), of Det Kongelige Danske Videnskabernes Selskab. Provenance: inscribed in the top margin of the title page by the Danish entomologist and malacologist Søren Ludvig [Paul] Tuxen (1908-1983) (he did not use his third surname); and on the front wrapper a stamp of the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020). A very good, bound copy. Very uncommon, especially when bound and internally in a pristine condition, such as this copy.
