Red leatherette with red and gilt title on the front board and spine. = A very seldom-seen, important and well-illustrated work on the beetles of the "far east" of Russia (i.e. eastern Siberia). The line drawings show whole animals and taxonomically important parts. It includes, for instance, several new species and genus-level taxa by G. S. Lafer. In Russian, with a short summary in English, which includes a list of new taxa in Carabidae, Hydrophilidae, Catopidae, Silphidae, Scarabeidae, Eucinetidae, Heteroceridae, Byrrhidae and Buprestridae. Stamp on title, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
