Original pictorial boards. = The second of two volumes. The first has fewer text pages and plates. Very well illustrated by the authorthe German malacologist Wilhelm Kobelt (1840-1916). This is the only edition published - it was not published in a coloured edition. Plates 51-89 show gastropod shells, 90 to 112 bivalves, with on plate 122 also a few brachiopods. This volume contains all the land shells and all bivalves, and part of the marine gastropods. Light spotting and several plates toned, as usual, otherwise good. Nissen ZBI, 2241.
