Speckled edges. = A seldom-seen work by the French malacologist Ernest Puton (1806-1856), dealing with the recent, and fossil (Pleistocene and Tertiary) molluscs of the département Vosges in northeastern France. With a hand-written, signed dedication by the author to the great French malacologist Gérard Paul Deshayes (1796-1875). Boards worn at edges, otherwise a very good copy.
