Original blue embossed cloth with bluish-white title on the front board and spine. = A fine but seldom-seen monograph, dealing with 131 species - including two that are new - of the blood-sucking midges family Ceratopogonidae, and in particular the genera Culicoides and Forcipomyia. In Russian with Latin nomenclature and a one page summary in English. Stamp on front free endpaper recto and title; otherwise a very good copy. Very uncommon.
