Bindings weak, not the work of a professional. Library label on spine foot; stamps on half-titles and titles, one inner joint broken, otherwise good, complete. ADDED: the Compte Rendu of the first Congrès, Heerlen, 7 - 11 juin 1927, also edited by W. J. Jongmans, published in Liège (Belgium) in 1928 (liii, 852, ii pp.; numerous plates, and graphs), and in a similar binding, however with the book block largely detached.
