Gilt title on the spine. Speckled edges. = An excellent monograph - actually the first of such, by the British invertebrate zoologist Thomas Davidson (1817-1885. Davidson died before publication, and the work was completed by the British zoologist and marine biologist, Agnes Crane (1852-1932). Published in the Society's Transactions, being the comple volume IV of the Series II, Zoology. Slight damage to the front board top edge, two spots on the front board; internally a very good, clean and unmarked copy. Nissen ZBI, 1048.
