Original blind blue boards. = A detailed and well-illustated work dealing with all aspects of the red oak (Quercus rubor), its morphology, anatomy, growth, use, etc. written by the Belgian botanist Vincentius Josephus de Saint-Moulin (1804-1837). The author's thesis. Published in the Leiden University's Annales. According to Stafleu and Cowan in 1828. It must be rare as they reported only one copy, in the New York Botanical Garden library. Light dampstaining to the plates, otherwise very good, clean. Stafleu and Cowan, 10091.
