Spine with gilt ornaments and title. Marbled endpapers. All edges speckled red. = This is the fourth volume of Castelnau's "Histoire naturelle des animaux articulés. Annelides, crustacés, arachnides... et insectes" and the only part written by Lucas. The other three cover the insects. This part was sold separately too, as shown by the title, which does not mention insects. In this copy the plates are not coloured. Some foxing to a few spider, millipede and centipede plates.
