First published in 1870 by Karl Friedrich Otto Russ (1833-1899), but this much altered and updated edition is by the German ornithologist Karl Neunzig (1864-1944). In the rear is a six pp. catalogue of related works. Slight toning, otherwise a fine copy. Nissen IVB, 802.
