The author, the French army general Émile Jourdy (1845-1941) is not in 2400 Years of Malacology. Published in the Annales de Paléontologie (Marcellin Boule, editor), volume 12(III-IV). Stamp on front wrapper, small stamp on plate versos (not shining through), otherwise a very good, clean and complete copy. Rare.
