Original printed wrappers = The fossil material on which the above study is based was discovered in 1904 by Peterson in the Tertiary beds along the Upper Niobrara River in western Nebraska. Excavations of these rich fossil deposits were to span four field seasons. Offprint from the Museum's Memoirs, volume III. Uncut. Former owner's name written on front wrapper. Wrappers detached, edges brittle and chipped; the paper quality of the work itself is quite good.
