Original portfolio (37.5 x 28.9 cm) with printed boards. = This is the rare first part of the illustrations de la partie paleontologie et geologique. It deals with sea urchins only, and includes many new species. As they are named and figured, they are nomenclatorially valid from here. The boards mention another part, the mollusques by Locard too, but that is not included. Boards much rubbed, spine split, damp-stains to the lower quarter of the whole work, otherwise in a good condition. Not in Nissen ZBI.
