Original green cloth with gilt title on the spine and front board. = A profusely illustrated work, showing well-preserved leaves of mainly new species of trees and other plants, and photos of landscapes. The title is preceded by "Contributions to Paleontology". This work consists of two parts, viz. "Introduction and systematic considerations", with the authors listed as on the spine and front board, and "Physical conditions and correlation" with the authors in reverse order. Usually this work is found soft bound, but this is a rare exception. Perforated stamp at the title page lower margin, well below the printed surface, with a small cancellation stamp on the verso; number written on the spine foot, otherwise, amazingly, in mint condition.
