Description: München, F. S. Hübschmann, 1835-1843. 13 volumes in 13. Folio (26.0 x 22.5; up to vol. 9 slightly taller). Original printed wrappers. = Rare uninterrupted run, nearly from the start, of a German astronomical periodical. Most of the contents are based on data collected by the German astronomer Johann Georg von Soldner (1776-1833), the second volume, for instance, dealing with observations made in 1822, but he did not live to see it published. That was done by his successor, the Scotland born German astronomer John "Johann" (von) Lamont (1805-1879). In original printed wrappers. Several wrappers worn at edges; lacking one rear wrapper; a few pages with light dampstaining or spotting, but generally clean. A very good set.
