Gilt title on the spine. = Rather rare, local American guide to the birds of South Carolina, bound with two closely related papers, viz. Wayne's Annotated list of birds originally described from South Carolina (published 1917), and a paper by Alexander Sprunt Jr. and E. Burnham Chamberlain which is supplemental to Wayne's first paper. Previously, these authors published a supplement in another periodical in 1912, and which is superseded by this 1931 list. It is rare to see together these works which were all originally published in the Contributions from the Charleston Museum. Bound with a few unrelated papers, including Mazÿck's List of South Carolina marine Mollusca. Old library stamp on first blank recto and title; otherwise a very good, clean copy.
