Well preserved nature printing with additional hand-colouring and printed caption. = A rare, early example of nature printing, showing an attractively shaped flowering plant. This print in very good condition. Some occasional spotting and discoloration at the top right edge. Five tiny holes in the left margin. Tiny imperfections at the outer edges, but without obvious creases or dents. Fischer Zweihundert Jahre Naturselbstdruck, 7; Stafleu and Cowan, 3763.
