Description: Trampe, Halle, 1757-1764. Folio-size loose nature printing (36.4 x 22.1 cm). Well preserved nature printing with additional hand-colouring and printed caption. = A rare, early example of nature printing. Showing fine example of chasteberry or monk's pepper, with beautiful blue flowers. This print in very good condition. Some occasional spotting. A few creases in top left corner. Five tiny holes in the left margin and a very short tear in the lower left corner, away from the caption. No dents or tears present. A very nice copy.
