Original printed wrappers. = The zoological results of this lesser known expedition to a little explored region were published in two volumes, of which this is the second. It contains 16 papers, of which 12 on various entomological - mostly coleopterological - groups (e.g. Borchmann on various cantharid groups, Gebien on Tenebrionidae, Weise on Coccinellidae and Chrysomelidae, etc., and Attems on "Myriopoden", Jacobi on Homoptera, Karny on Thysenoptera, Strand on Arachnida, covering 150 pages, and so on). Also with two (large) papers of herpetological interest, namely on Amphibia by F. Nieden, occupying pp. 165-196, and one plate, and by R. Sternfeld on Reptilia (pp. 197-280) with five text engravings and three plates. Uncut. Binding a bit weak; wrappers somewhat frayed at edges, and a little chipped at spine ends; contents clean. In all a very good copy. Rare, as most parts. Nissen ZBI, 2761. Not in Kainbacher.
