Starting point of the expedition was Munsiyari, and the survey included the Milam glacier. The use of tipped-in original photos is somewhat unusual. This is an offprint, with new pagination, of the academy's Denkschriften. Provenance: inscribed by the Austrian geologist Alexonder Tollmann on the front board, below and older, illegible signature (Mölbl?). The large, coloured map is detached, otherwise a very good copy. Not in Ward and Carozzi.
