Description: Amsterdam, Johannes Müller, 1892-1897-1905. Three volumes in three. Very thick, large 8vo. 1,929 pp. [(1894) 1-668; (1897) xvi, 14, 497, xxi; (1905) 559], 14 lithographed plates. Original printed wrappers. = The first title, in two volumes, treats the hymenomycètes, gastéromycètes, hypodermées, phycomycètes, and pyrénomycètes. The second volume has a complicated pagination, including additions to volume I, and to volume II. The second work includes other groups of Fungi. The first is Verhandelingen der Koninklijke Akademie der Wetenschappen, tweede sectie, deel II. It is complete with 134 figures on 14 plates, not with "134 plates" (erroneously stated by another antiquarian book-dealer). The second work (Catalogue...)was published in the same series, namely Verhandelingen der Koninklijke Akademie der Wetenschappen, tweede sectie, deel XI. Uncut. Wrappers a bit chipped and spine cover mostly absent, but otherwise clean and internally very good. Volbracht, 1520; 1521.
